Also Naghshe Rostam is not. :( It's the same you would make a Egypt map with Cairo but without modelling the Pyramids and the Sphinx... or Dubai without the Burj Khalifa, where the historical meaning of Persepolis is greater by far! Also the valleys are much more green (ok - might depend on the season). And the lake near Shiraz has a color that varies between orange and pink, because of it's high salt content. The the updated map will be about the same size as the Caucasus map. There are a few idiosyncracies to address but it looks and performs fantastically. Notably the rugged mountains. Really well done. And we've got so much more to knock down too. One thing I wish they would model is the nuclear facility at Bushehr. There's also a helicopter operations base there IRL IIRC. Have fun. Don't suck. DCS can already use more than 12 GB RAM, and things can be unloaded from RAM anytime and be loaded from SSD into RAM again. So if player is flying in Qatar for example, Iran airbases and geography and all that doesn't even have to be in RAM, at least not detailed, only rough mountain shapes...
