I have another carrier that is more suited to the Hornets and Tomcats.

 

Like speed-of-heat said the Cats were too weak for the Phantoms and the arrester gear and deck would of had to be strengthened which would not of been coast effective So they converted her to a Commando ship in 71 then latter in the mid 70s added ASW gear then in 81 a STOVL.

 

But saying all that...... Yes I am working on a CATBAR 1969 version which I hope the A-4 mod will be able to use.

By the way, A-4E-c allready works, you just need arrresting wires.. the scooter has its own catapult code in it...

Oh. Sounds quite Vindictive.

 

There was someone who was supposed to release their FAA Tomcat skins, but I haven't heard anything from them since.

 

Cat skins for faa are on user downloads from @Miasma

Yes, but needs some rework on the mesh.

 

But bare in mind only the A-4 will be the only fixed wing to be able to use it ... at the time of writing..

I'll give it a week and if there is no major problems with this build then I will upload it to the user files section..

How has last week's OB patch affect the mod?

 

Landing gear broke on the starboard side of the boat, port side was/is fine.

 

I did some investigating and it was linked to the hull collision mesh.

So for the time being and until I find a solution there is no hull collision.

 

Also, will the '71 version have a higher number of available Helo spawns, apart from the deck landing/take-off points?

 

I'm redoing the spawn locations for the 71 as well as the 81.
