You cannot do it at the moment. It will come later.

It's possible already, but it wont remove the drag or weight.

Add:

custom_args =
{
[309] = 1.0,
[310] = 1.0,
[311] = 1.0,
[312] = 1.0,
[313] = 1.0,
[314] = 1.0,
[315] = 1.0,
}

To Line 257 of the Blue Angels Jet Team Description.lua

However this method is purely cosmetic. You'll have weapons floating on invisible pylons, and the weight/drag will still be present.

Upon reading this I certainly disagreed. However, after loading up the collision model it's clear the visibility arguments for the pylons on the collision model are not animated the same as the base. I don't know why that wasn't originally configured the same time it was done for the base model. So you are correct, the drag from the pylons still do currently affect the "clean" jet.

You are a legend Skatezilla, next, centerline smoke please :)

They dont have centerline smoke, its a oil line that extends over the left engine exhaust.

I noticed the pylons become visible at a certain zoom (zoomed out), anyone experiencing the same?

Lower LODs prolly dont have the visibility argument.

So how is ED going to fix that once this option to remove pylons are implemented officially? I guess the most obvious answer is adding the necessary arguments?

When Implemented Officially the Lower LODs would be updated, as well as the Primary.

would there be an argument also for the lower lod's?

No.

SkateZilla your code doesn't work anymore?

After an Update, You must restore the code to the Livery File.
