bunkerjunker Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 I have created a mission in NTTR and have set up various audio triggers at the ramp (ie ground and tower transmissions) on specific radio frequencies using the "Radio Transmission" option in triggers. As we progress down the ramp and into the trigger zone, I can hear the trigger being played on the specified frequency, however other multiplayer clients cannot hear it, even though they are tuned to the same frequency. After many attempts to identify the issue, my thoughts are that audio triggers are not being "triggered" for MP clients. Anyone have any suggestions?

I believe this is a long standing audio bug for many years. Not sure if they will ever get around to fixing it. My Missions: Valley Patrol Mission :: Valley Escort Mission :: A2A Engagements
falken76 Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I made a few missions that play sounds on the radio frequencies and it worked for the people that joined my server. I don't know if this makes a difference, I had it set to easy communications. Here is a screenshot of a trigger that works for me. This will play music over the radio when anyone in the coalition enters the trigger zone, all the entries under actions are the same but going to specific radio channels. If you wanted the sounds to play to each player as they enter the zone, I would assign each player a group and then change the middle one that says "Part of Coalition in zone" to "Part of group in zone" and Select the plane you just assigned a group to. Do that for each plane you want your players to use, you can set the radio frequencies on each plane then. I think that would work. Well forget the screenshot, I can't just add a photo, I have to find a host and share it? Too much effort. Switched condition. Part of Coalition in zone, and an action for every single plane you want to hear the music or sound file, each one set to their correct frequency - Plays sound to whole coalition when any plane enters the zone. Switched condition, Part of Group in Zone, and action for specific aircraft by radio frequencie - Plays to individual planes as they enter the zone, be sure to assign each plane a group. This one will need an entire entry (Triggers, condition, action) for each plane that you want to hear the sound. That should work. I have mine set up this way to play robotech music for the group, and there's one guy that always takes off from the taxi way so I set up one that plays clown music into his session when he does that and that uses the Player as group condition.
