Have never had the types of issues I now have from todays DCS Beta update. My .exe has disappeared. None of my existing Eagle Dynamics various applications on my Windows Open Programs list are even active now. When I go to my Open Beta 2.5.2 install on it's own SSD, the icon that I used to start the program has disappeared and even the "Updater" in the Bin folder does not work. Am totally lost on how to fix the problems. It has even affected my Final Release 2.5 desktop icon and I cannot even get it returned to the normal, active icon after this today's update has porked my installs. Any thoughts on how I might be able to fix whatever took place without having to download a new copy of the DCS Open Beta? When I click on the old, working icon that was on my desktop, I get this error msg "error creating process". I did find DCS Updater 2.8.1.58 in an allusive location in C:/users/my name/AppData/Local/Temp/DCS openbeta, so I have restarted another update but it took hours before and will most likely take another several hours. Not sure how I repair all my DCS applications along with my DCS Updater GUI Utility that Skate Zilla has provide many of us with. Never been up against anything like this. Thoughts?

Finally got the DCS Updater 2.8.1.58 to complete the update after 18 hours. When I start the new 2.5.2.18521 it does not have ANY of my modules installed. When I go to the "Module Manager" it puts up an "install Modules" list with all the modules I have purchased and when I click to install those modules, it does NOT install them. It actually starts the DCS Updater 2.8.1.58 all over again. If I leave that running but try the modules install process again I get an error message that says "D:\DCS World OpenBeta\autoupdate_log.txt:[32]The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." I have no idea what is going on unless it is referring to the reality that the DCS updater is in process once again. I am going to leave the DCS 2.8.1.58 running for another 20 hours but I don't see how that could possibly put my purchased modules back into that DCSBeta 2.5.2.18521. Can you please give me some directions to fix this so I can get back to the DCS OpenBeta 2.5. Thanks you.

I have been able to get the OpenBeta fixed and updated. Seems it is all okay at the moment.
