Cant' make my TM 1600m stick and throttle to work properly

Hey all,

 

I have TM 1600M stick + TWCS throttle. when i try to adjust it to my liking straight from DCS settings, i cant adjust some of the buttons in both stick and throttle. when i try to do that from T.A.R.G.E.T GUI and i run the script weird things happens (cant control the keyboard, some functions in the stick and the throttle are mixing up - throttle suddenly controls of the AXIS and etc... all in all, pretty depressing experience.

 

i cant wait to fly this beast but cant' seem to do so with my gear so far... :pilotfly:

 

help would be highly appreciated :helpsmilie:

got the same set up as you have and have no issues, but i didnt install the target gui all i had done is to plug it in and let the pc install the drivers etc. best bet is to try to set the buttons from the dcs adjust controls and dont use the target gui

Problem is that it wont let me edit some of the buttons in the dcs adjust controls for some reason.. do you use the throttle for radar antenna and slew???

Go through this video and see how it's all done and report back:)

 

Options settings start around the 4:30

There is a new option in the F-18 special menu

 

If this is ticked then you need to bind the finger lifts both to a button for the burner inflight.

yep got the slew to work on the x and y axis button on the front of the throttle you just have to assign what buttons you want took me awhile to figure it out

I have the same setup, no need to have keys assigned to finger lifts before or after the upgrade, pushing the throttle fully forward always engaged the AB's for me.

 

I've attached mine, it's a slightly tweaked version of the ones in the user added files section

Hey for the buttons and axis that just won't seem to map, I used "Joytokey". It allowed me to map the small joystick on the throttle, and any button on it.
