Silversmith Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Anyone else seen this? After the latest update today the NWS switch seem to have stopped Latching, you have to continuously hold the NWS key (default S) or mapped HOTAS button down to steer. If you release the button NWS switches off. This makes it impossible to engage HI NWS, hence impossible to manoeuvre on the carrier deck. Want to check it isn't just me before I raise a bug. It was fine before I applied today's update. I have asked the Ground Crew to remove the chocks (now mandatory since chocks default ON for a cold ramp start) before I move.
Capn kamikaze Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 I've always had to hold it, but that may be my Warthog setup...
HiJack Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Works perfectly as it is supposed to work here. Check you assignments maybe?
Dejjvid Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 With launch bar extended you get that, confirm if it happens with launch bar retracted. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
Silversmith Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 But If you have to hold it how do you engage HI steering which is toggled on/off by a subsequent press of the NWS button?
Silversmith Posted June 20, 2018 Author Posted June 20, 2018 AH, thanks Dejjvid …. the Launch Bar was indeed extended by mistake. Many thanks for solving my problem !!
Weta43 Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Always had to hold it unless you fold the wings. (edit - many posts appeared while I was reading) Cheers.
