DieHard
What are the rules using my current DCS installation with building a new PC? Been with DCS since BS1. I have most of the inventory. Am I allowed to transfer my aircraft , terrains , etc. to the new machine? What is the process and the how-to to do it? References and / or links to read ? Thanks [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Art-J
Just deactivate your modules one by one, as per instructions in the middle of "DCSW Activation Guide" you will find in your DCS/Docs folder. Then after reinstalling the game on new PC, you'll activate them again. Not sure how it applies to this new post-Harrier keyless DRM system though. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10. MrDieing
To be safe I would do as Art-J described above. For the new DRM modules it does not matter what you do, they are tied to your account. So if you install DCS and log in it should automatically recognize that you have those modules and you can download them without reactivating them. Again, to be safe, I would make sure that I uninstalled everything on my previous PC and that I logged out on the DCS client. cthulhu68
You might want to copy saved games folder to thumb drive so you can drop your configs and settings into new instasll.
