some1 Posted June 23, 2018 Posted June 23, 2018 It looks like AKAN gunsight goes bonkers in windy conditions, almost like the X/Y wind directions are swapped. When attacking parallel to the wind direction, the aim point is offset sideways while it should be up/down. When attacking perpendicular to the wind direction, there's no sideways offset, even though there should be. Easy to test if you set some strong winds in the mission editor. some1 Posted October 18, 2018 Author Posted October 18, 2018 Unfortunately the issue is still there. In the attached mission, try to hit the runway ahead. Never mind the target trucks, but something as big as the runway should be easy to hit, right?gunAJS37.miz Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro

Just tested this and it seems to be fixed. When fireing perpendicular to the wind, the shots get blown away to the side in the direction the wind is blowing to and when fireing in parallel with the wind the shots stay in line with the target.
