GafferDCS
Can’t find an official reference for corner speed in the FA-18C. I know this varies with weight etc... Edited June 27, 2018 by BOSUNTHEDOG AKA Gaffer

Kirkey_badgers
Grim reapers on youtube have done some dogfight videos, and they seem to reckon 350-400knots as best turn rate.

jaguara5
May I ask if a) the g limiter override brings better turn performance and b) if it's ever used IRL during dogfight
IvanK
The G limiter override will give you 33% increase in available G (above the present G limit) so Turn perf would be increased however it is not used IRL unless in an emergency ... like I am about to hit the ground so give me more G RFN
Gaspipe
Discussed this very topic with a real life Hornet Test Pilot based out of China Lake. His answer was "310"
HawkDCS
G limiter can give additional turn performance but 18 will let you bleed of all the speed in high alpha. IRL if pilot hits the override plane has to be checked for stress cracks etc. The G limit is to extend the life of the airframe.
