Crash while accessing "warehouse" stores at any air base, in EDITOR -Persian Gulf- editor crashes, as above stated. Is this a known bug ??

I can not reproduce, is it a particular airfield?

 

Please attach your dcs.log it may give us some clues.

 

If you have not already remove any unofficial mods ( if any ) and run a cleanup and repair.

c++ install fail...another version already installed...

 

this is the only time the P G map crash's' for me,(in Editor when clickin on the info tab,, seems odd that a c++ problem would allow all other aspects to function..

 

 

 

 

More Info.. just tried to access info tab in a caucus mission, Same Results, CRASHED so problem prob on my end...I'm showing C++ 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 & 2017 all as being installed. Should I uninstall the 2015 and then reinstall it??

Did as instructed, ran cleanup thru command prompt did a repair, restart and still same results. This is all air ports in Persian and all that I tried in Caucus. Logs attach.

How to Remove Caucas Terrain?

 

As previously stated, this is happening in ALL theaters/Terrains.

I will remove and reinstall,Nevada-Normandy & Persian Gulf as advised... Sure hate to do that if I need a complete fresh install...Use up time and Activation.

you wont be using up any activation's if you are doing a fresh install of DCS as they are already in your registry.

 

If it was me I would go with a fresh install.

 

Only time you need to worry about activation's is if there has been a hardware change or OS change.

So I did complete reinstall . I tried new mission in caucus, with the same results.

* I lowered screen resolution to 2700x1600 from original ( for last several years) 4800x2560.

 

This allowed the editor to open warehouse info.without crashing...

That tells me DCS install probably OK but I have a video issue I'm not sure how to resolve,, short of a clean Windows install..

Any advice ? before I take that plunge ??

you should be ok if dcs is the same resolution as your monitor, which is recommended.

 

If the crash is due to a wide resolution we would like to try and reproduce it.

 

If you are going to do a fresh OS install dont forget to deactivate any modules that use starforce
