throttle not moving properly with HOTAS...

I have tried tweaking the settings but cannot get the plane's throttle to respond accurately to HOTAS throttle.

I flew other planes and it works perfectly well. As an example, in the F-15 the moment you push a little bit from the start of the physical range you see the RPM move up and just when it gets to the 5th afterburner stage you are appropriately at the end of your physical range.

 

 

This kind of accuracy does not happen with the F18.

Warthog throttle response: it seems roughly the first 20% of the course from idle/run is a deadzone, then mapping ramps up somewhat linearly.
