works on latest dcs build, IC 100% pass, no problem with water, just frametime gain is not as original..

OK owe you an apology, yes it works,

 

however, water is essentially the same as it was in 2.5.5, you don't get the transparency that's intended, and it doesn't pass IC check for me... though i could always get mine to pass, and only a few others could ...... corrected when you clear fxo and metashaders2 it does seem to pass IC, im going to see if i can get the clear water mod to pass as well

OK my normally butchers knife approach works; if you remove the water.fx from the mod folder you get the water as intended and it seems to pass IC.

i have included an updated zip file.

 

 

if you make any changes to the graphics settings in game you will likely need to reclear the fxo and metashaders2 file in order to pass the IC check.

 

i will do some perf testing tomorrow ...

OK my normally butchers knife approach works; if you remove the water.fx from the mod folder you get the water as intended and it seems to pass IC.

Ok. So I ran this one tonight. First load it failed IC. Came out, deleted FXO/Meta. Toggled off Civilian plane mods and 3D Migoto's mod. Only thing running is this, VR Menu Hangar Mod and a menu screen theme song in for the Tomcat.

 

Jumped back into Hoggit - Persian Gulf and was able to go to the carrier and play around for a while.

 

YEA! I was pulling over 70fps in the LSO position camera while looking around and maintained a straight 45fps or better pretty much everywhere else.

 

Thank you! This mod makes life so much better in DCS world. Glad to finally get it back working again with MP.

Last night I applied the mod with the water patch and now finally I can enjoy my Supercarrier in my Reverb, at any weather conditions, and with a decent amount of planes and equipment on deck (no shadows, though),

Yes, shadows are the killer on the SC in VR. Just about bearable without, but most cetainly not with!

you need to build shaders for everything - each individual aircraft, each individual map, each individual tree, building, piece of equipment.

but when try to connect to MP server - goes to 90% and stays there - no error, no drop, nothing... stays that way forever. In some servers when try to connect - "need pure version" (is this the IC?)

In SP - no problem. I'm using Stable version (not Open Beta) 2.5.5.41371. Please give advice.

apparently i can help you this is an old 2.5.5 version for IC Pass

I actually have no idea what version of the game I'm running. I'm running the DCS Stable. I installed the mod before starting the game the first time. See attachment if this is the possible version of the game.

 

It says 2.5.5 on the splash screen, but 2.9.16.18 on the launcher/updater

DCS Stable isnt 2.5.6 or greater, its still 2.5.5.
