Biga42 Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 I understand that it shall be in HSI in order to the pilot have understanding from AWACS comm. Am I wrong
CHRISXTR3M3 Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 No you are not wrong. HSI page shows waypoints including bulls. And you can use it to get visual reference to what awacs is calling out in reference to bulls. If you have the A-10C think of it like the warthog's TAD page User Files for AV8-B, X55
Biga42 Posted July 11, 2018 Author Posted July 11, 2018 I'm flying Hornet, how to show bullseye on HSI?
Yoda967 Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 As a quick-and-dirty work around...you can add bullseye to the WPT list in ME as part of your flight plan and delete it from the sequence once you're in the cockpit. Then, you can select it on the HSI and read your own range and bearing to bullseye in the upper right of the HSI. I name it BULL in the ME so that the WPT name is displayed on the HSI as well. Biga42 Posted July 12, 2018 Author Posted July 12, 2018 I understand that F10 map "UP" is always north, right? So I can peak the map and get situational awareness..

You're just deleting it from the SEQ1 list.
