TAW_Impalor 发布于2018年7月11日 发布于2018年7月11日 Hi, why am I losing control/roll down the left wing when approaching 1000 TAS? Isn't it supposed to be that the engine should flame out or something? I thought controllability depends on IAS, not TAS... 12900KF@5.4, 32GB DDR4@4000cl14g1, 4090, M.2, W10 Pro, Warthog HOTAS, ButtKicker, Reverb G2/OpenXR
Vitormouraa 发布于2018年7月11日 发布于2018年7月11日 Airflow separation, you're reaching the critical Mach of the wing. At these high speeds, the upper part of the wing, airflow is probably supersonic, creating a shockwave over the wing (although you're not supersonic), which makes the airflow separate from the wing, making the flight control surfaces very ineffective or completely useless. This highly depends on the local Mach number too. SplashOneGaming Discord https://splashonegaming.com
