Skitter Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 Hi guys, I've got a little 11.6 inch monitor inbound and I am going to fix my TM Cougar MFDs onto it. I wonder, if I could get away with connecting the little monitor to the motherboard's HDMI output? My game runs of a dedicated GPU of course. I can connect the small monitor to the GPU card. But I would like to divide the workload between the cards. Would DCS see both cards and could I export the viewports to separate cards ? Cheers
=Panther= Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 In theory it is no different than using USB monitors for the Cougar MFDs. I can't see why the on-board GPU would be any different. Just remember to enable the on-board in bios, if you haven't. Skitter Posted July 13, 2018 Author Posted July 13, 2018 It does work. I have the small monitor connected to the motherboard's HDMI.
