I'm enjoying the complexity of this set of missions, but sometimes it frustrates me a lot that the mission doesn't tell you anything if you do it right or wrong, so I come here. In the TAC 12 mission I got all targets destroyed till I get the convoy call. The JTAC is supposed to IR mark the convoy but I can't see any laser pointer with the NVG, although I can see the moving trucks no problem. The JTAC asked me to use rockets, but I only destroyed 2 trucks with the rocket pass and got out of rockets, so I turned in and finish it off with the gun. I got the Shack call and the "target destroyed" from the JTAC, and then... silence. No further tasking, nothing, until I got out of time, and I had to call "end of vul" No response either from the JTAC. No response at all from the FE. So I tried to exit the range on charlie and as expected I got the Knock it off message for leaving the range. Since the mission has so many triggers I wonder what I did wrong. And in case it was for using the gun after exhausting my rockets, well, at least they could tell you "mission failed" or "don't use other weapons" or whatever. So at this point I don't know if it is some kind of bug with the new update or just that I did something wrong, the triggers stop working and the mission is failed (but nobody tells you) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Sabre-TLA Posted July 12, 2018 Posted July 12, 2018 You need to kill all the targets identified by the JTAC. When you hit the correct targets you will hear the FE give the 'SHACK' call. If the JTAC is not responding you should check-out from the JTAC and then contact them again to see if they will respond. The campaign mission should play the same as the practice mission so see if you get the same result. If your attempt didn't match the following video then it didn't play as expected and a recent game update might have broken it. We will retest and see if that's the case. I check out and call again, it worked but when I had to contact Uzi again for the final set of targets, he didn't respond at all. I had the proper frequency, and he responded the first time the FE told me to contact him. I spent all the play time till the FE made me leave and got mission failed again for not destroying all targets... As I said I'm loving the campaign as I did with the previous ones, but the JTAC inconsistency is becoming an issue. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
