Captain Orso Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 In OTT (Oculus Tray Tool) you can set super-sampling globally and per app. In DCS you can set PD (Pixel Density) in the video configuration. Are these the same setting under different names? Should it make any difference whether I set ss/PD through OTT or DCS? Has anyone actually tested this? Many t(h)anks in advance. TheNanny Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Yes, this is the same. I had some issues in iRacing when setting it in OTT instead of in iRacing's ini, so I never tried it in DCS and decided to simply use the ingame options right away.
dburne Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Yes they both accomplish the same as others mentioned. I have the Oculus Tray Tool and love it, however if a game already has SS or PD support - like DCS, I set it in game. I use OTT to set it for games that do not offer that as an option.
