You may want to try with your AV scanner disabled. It seems like some process is holding a lock on that file. The 1st suspect is your AV !

Rebooting will often help here, but it is most likely your AV scanning creating the issue

I'm having the same issue. Never happened with any previous update.

 

Does anyone know how to temporarily turn off windows defender? I can't find an option to disable it temporarily.

 

Edited to add: Cancel, restarting my box appears to have solved the problem. Weird.

Hey Darkfire,

You should find the option in Control Panel -> System and Security -> Action Center (unless they've changed it again)

You may also be able to click the little flag on the taskbar. :thumbup:

 

Didn't need to turn it off eventually but thanks, that's worth me knowing for the future :thumbup:
