Open your "Saved Games/DCS.../Config/options.lua" file, and look for a line which starts with ["units"] Do you read "metric" or "imperial"? If you read "imperial", manually change it to "metric": ["units"] = "metric", Save the file, then start the game. Does it still says "Imperial"? However the NS430 uses knots, nautical miles and feet until changed via NS430's in game Aux > Units page. Click MENU: you'll get a "Save Settings / Load Settings" menu. Select "Save Settings" and click ENT.
