Labels without text and white CIVILIAN and UNAUTH target

How hard would it be to have a 'Label' display option as a colored point only without text clutter.

A new label color for civilian. noncombatant, and unauthorized targets.

 

I do not view labels as, in DCS we are operating under reduced resolution from RW 20/20 retina , limited by monitor resolution.

That you can do already, just need to edit a label.lua

In the attached, I use a single tiny dot, that starts blending in around 12km, and starts getting some color around 6km, which reaches its strongest color at around 3-4km, and then fades out again.

 

If you want the dot bigger, increase: (Use notepad++, not the regular notepad)

font_properties = {"DejaVuLGCSans.ttf", 7, 0, 0, 0}

Is ment for VR, where the dot appears bigger, so 7 on monitor is actually no more than a single pixel. So can try, 9 or 11.

 

Put the file in your: C:\Users\'Username'\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\View or C:\Users\'Username'\Saved Games\DCS\Config\View
