After some research in various manuals I've found these diagrams of F-15C MPCD functionality. Is, by chance, someone here who has better sources regarding using of actual MPCD? I am missing any RL manual where exact MPCD operation (and buttons) are described. Only diagrams from weapons employment manual, flight manual - but no functionality is described. After reading F-15 wishlist thread, I know that Oleg from ED has quite a big knowledge about F-15C systems. Perhaps you could help?

Thank you very much for this page imagery, it might be useful, but without some legend it is hard to decipher. May I ask about the source? Is this from other, older sim or manuals?

As a rough guess of what it's showing:

  • Blue aircraft shape in the middle of the compass rose: Your own aircraft
  • Solid green lines emanating from your aircraft: Radar scan azimuth
  • Orange line & triangles:Waypoints (6, 7, 8 and 9)
  • Blue circles: Wingmen (2, 3 and 4) with altitude underneath
  • Red single letters/numbers: Possibly ground radar/SAM sites, S = Search, 3 = SA3, 6 = SA6
  • Red dotted triangles with text underneath: Enemy flights of planes, i.e. 2F/23 is a two-ship of Mig-29s flying at 23kft - white dotted line either side shows it's been hooked (and extra info is showing for that flight bottom right). There's another two-ship flying at 42kft on the screen as well.
  • Green circles: Friendly flights with altitude underneath
