DmitriKozlowsky Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Described functionality in current Beta vs. Initial release Reading the pocket manual PDF, I have a few questions. A-G AUTO mode. Is as CCRP weapons delivery. On a ARBS or TPOD locked target, M-82 series, approach target, hold down consent release (pickle bomb), hold aircraft steady until weapons computer releases weapons. But in my case, with AUTO , the weapons release as soon as I press pickle. CCIP works fine. DSL- backup depressed sight line is totally inaccurate. In a shallow dive at 400 knots IAS, pickle on DSL dot over target, results in bombs either too long or too short. I am clueless on DSL usage. Mavericks- Pocket manual describes E,G,D,H, and K. Arming menu only allows E and G Gunpod- works fine, but the audio effects and rate of fire are weak. It is a five barrel gatling gun with 25mm calibre, with 3600 round per minute rate of fire. It should sound similar to BRRRR of A-10. To me it sounds like a popgun.
defeatist99 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 I'll see if it's like that for me in about 10 minutes. Razbam talked to some USMC pilots and they only ever used the E and F on the harrier. They are using the G as a stand in for the F currently.
defeatist99 Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 Mark-82's in Auto are releasing when they should. The bomb fall line still isn't stabilized correctly but the bombs aren't releasing as soon as I pickle. They are doing a consented release. As for DSL it's not a computed point so you would probably either need to be in a steeper dive to help with accuracy or I'm sure there are charts with altitude and speed for release in DSL.
al531246 Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 CCIP works fine. Sure about that? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201489 Intel i5-8600k | EVGA RTX 3070 | Windows 10 | 32GB RAM @3600 MHz | 500 GB Samsung 850 SSD
defeatist99 Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 Sure about that? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=201489 I didn't mean that it was working 100% as it should in the real thing, just that it's accurate to use. It's working much better than ccrp is.

I agree. CCIP is incomplete, but functional. However, the current implementation of AUTO mode is totally wrong. Let's see if RB fix soon both modes because they are the foundations of an attack a/c.
