Wish: transition mapping for gear and flaps

For the Warthog flap and LASTE switch (which I use for gear) to operate fully, It'd be nice to have commands that map to "Half/Retract" / "Full/Half" and "Gear Up/Neutral" / "Gear Down/Neutral"

This Neutral position is still not clear for me. Do Yak52 pilots keep the levers there all the time, and only moved them up and down for the time of extension / retraction, then back to neutral? Or what is it for?
