Navy Equipment

Hi,

 

I was interested by the smokey SAMs, but notice two things :

 

- There is a radar alert ("U"), but a smokey SAM have no alert at all, they are supposed to simulate manpads,

- I try several time a single mission to try smokey SAM, it fire the SAM the first time I have launched the mission. If I relaunch the lmission again, no more SAM fired (?).

Edit : apparently, yes, there is a radar linked to smoke SAM.

BlackLibrary, I really appreciate your work with the Navy Equipment.. it's awesome!  And thank you for continue to support the mod, that's more awesome! 

 

I was pleased to find an updated version!  I'm happy to report the the light-box is working just fine for DCS Open Beta 2.7.1.6709.  I have a training mission for FCLPs, and your mod really adds to the realism and training.  The evening mission is really sweet with the lights working!

 

Hopeful that a solution will be found to get the meatball working.  As a Naval Aviator, I would love to see a complete package in the training environment! 

 

I really applaud your work, and VNAOs on their T-45, 2 pieces that were badly needed for a Naval Training Environment!

 

Wish I was able to help with the meatball problem, unfortunately I have zero knowledge creating mods.  I am trying to learn MIST and identify a fix for the range script, that's slow in coming.

Hello,

 

since installing your mod,


certain as the aircraft carriers have disappeared.
Stennis, the escort ships, Charle de Gaulle ...
But they are present in the mission editor.

Dear all,

 

Thanks for this great mod ! Love what it adds in terms of immersion.

 

However, I have noticed a size problem when playing around with the FCLP lights box. While width is alright, it is significantly shorter than the carrier's landing area, coming at 500ft instead of ~775ft. So, I then did some quick Google Maps measuring, and on all Naval Air Stations with an FCLP box that I checked, it was a lot longer than the one in-game : they were all ~236m long. That equates to ~775ft, which also matches the length of DCS's carriers landing area. Here are some images to illustrate :

Correcting this would be a huge plus ! And, while I'm at it, adding the FCLP box textures, so we don't just have lights, would be awesome.

This mod cannot be used in DCS 2.7.7.14727 open beta, but can only be used in DCS 2.7.6.13436 open beta. Otherwise, other mods will display the model normally in the editor, but the model will be lost when entering the game. I hope it can be repaired

This mod is broken with the new update 😞

The Supercarrier won´t show up and if you start on the ramp your aircraft explode.

Hope its fixed soon. This isnt one of those mods that adds something you can do without. It contains stuff ED should have included in the SC module and/or aircraft modules and statics off the bat but didnt.

Seems to be working fine for me. Im able to add aircraft, select them and alter loadouts in  game with no issues. Your problem may lie elsewhere.

It´s fixed since 2 DCS updates ago, check some earlier posts from March.

I have the trailer but not the working ball. On the other hand, I just started working with blender to see if I can port over an IFLOLS trailer from FSX over to DCS. Not sure if that's something that interests you.
