bbrz Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 Haven't discovered how to get rid of the aft pilot. Since the aft pilot sits way behind the CG I would expect the Yak-53 to be a tad more stable in pitch when flying alone. i7-7700K 4.2GHz, 16GB, GTX 1070
JumpinK Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 I believe this is W.I.P. Maybe it will be an option in mission editor like with the L-39 "Landing on the ship during the daytime is like sex, it's either good or it's great. Landing on the ship at night is like a trip to the dentist, you may get away with no pain, but you just don't feel comfortable" — LCDR Thomas Quinn, USN.

bbrz Posted August 5, 2018 Author Posted August 5, 2018 Back from a small airshow where I talked to a Yak-52 pilot (and got to taxi around a bit with him in his bird). According to him, the weight and location of the aft pilot doesn't noticeable alter performance or pitch stability. i7-7700K 4.2GHz, 16GB, GTX 1070
