Rudel_chw
Really, really nice ... Eaf602_puff
Thanks folks..had a blast doing it...F18?? Is that one of them fancy new machines , I'm stuck in the past lol
streakeagle
Absolutely wonderful! This type of pit with controls is about the right place with the right shape works equally well for VR or conventional display. Of course it only works well with the Spitfire. But clearly that is what you love to fly. My goal all along has been an F-4 Phantom bit of similar quality. While I could move forward with the F-4s available for FSX/P3d, I have been waiting for a DCS F-4. In the mean time, I have fallen in love with the F/A-18C. I am considering having two pits side-by-side. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Eaf602_puff
Thanks...would love to see the two pits side by side...my only other love is for the F86..maybe some day when I have space I’ll give that a go!
streakeagle
The P-51, F-86, and F-5 are all good candidates for me. If the F-4 wasn't coming in the future, I might be focusing more on the F-5. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

jocko417
Bloody amazing! How much of it is 3D printed vs. actual period parts?
Eaf602_puff
Cheers Jocko. Left hand side trim, throttle , radio box.. control column and under carriage control unit are 3D printed..the rest is handmade by myself in at my work..front panel and most of the left hand side...I also reworked the saitek pedals in the workshop.
