Recording Gameplay

Hi there,

 

I'm in need of some guidance (another way of saying I can't fix my issues myself)

 

So I used to use the ingame overlay within the geforce experience windows app which was working fine until one of these windows 10 updates a while back and it stopped working. Unable to solve it myself I spoke to the geforce support team and they told me it's because I'm missing an updated file mfplat.dll.

 

My issue is though that when I update the file (from the windows 10 software download patches at it was a known issue) I loose the ability to run my plex server on my PC - so it's either I can't watch all of my ummm "copies of my own personally bought movies and tv shows" OR i can't record my gameplay... I've been going with the latter.

 

Are there any other options that are good for recording my game play?

 

Any help would be great.
