Depending on the date you preordered. Back in the day, there was no POINTCTRL website, so we just joined a post with our DCS forum nickname. The conforming list was then extracted and sorted by #invoice and #nickname. That info is available on PointCTRL Discord channel.
Once the website became available, that post was closed, and the preorders began adding up exclusively from that way with no #invoice.

If you ordered through the website then your name is not on that list, that list is all the people who ordered before there WAS a website. And none of the website orders will ship until that list is finished. It's at 425 now, so there's 127 to go before website orders begin shipping.

I got my V2 kit this week.

 

As a replacement for the mouse or trackball I think it is both a brilliant and very elegant method of interacting with the cockpit in VR. If I hadn't got down the route of spending countless hours trying to perfect a button box solution I would use it no question. What I do find is having buttons & rotaries acting as mouse clicks, or wheel rotations in the rough vicinity of the cockpit switch just feels a tad more immersive, though I think it is a huge preference thing. Plus my array of switches and buttons is not the tidiest looking solution.

 

I don't want to hijack this thread talking about my button box solution, PointCTRL works exactly as it states and is a very clever solution and I would highly recommend it for most users. Interesting article on using DCS with VR to train actual A-10 pilots. They don't mention it in the article, but the top picture sure looks like they are using the PointCTRL as well. Too bad, it would have been a nice shout out and free advertising.

Damn @MilesD ....that is really a great piece of hardware. 2nd day I played with my new toy and blown away..... even so I have to admit PointCtrl is more effective in the electric jets, due to button placement in the jets, than in my Tomcat, but I love it anyhow. Throwing switches right and left with a bright grin on my face. It really starts to shine in the RIO Pit. So immersive to just "press" the "real" button instead of looking for the stupid mouse all the time. I just love it......

 

The next best thing after VR.  Hope you get the MSFS part worked out as well.

I am on the list, are these headset specific? Like I think I already have a different headset than when I first signed up and likely will be moving to the new Vive Pro 2 when it is released ( have it on order).

You can switch the electronics out of the mount, so you might order a new hmd specific mount or use a genetic one Miles also provide. 

 

If you on the list, you should pre order thrue the web site again with your list name and number and you will keep your spot. Thus you can adapt your order. When you get your invoice there will be another chance to make changes.
