OK I just checked mine is fine I am not using OCulus rift and I have 1 monitor system

Targs,

 

 

 

GTX 1080ti, Asus Hero XI, Intel 9900KF @4.2MHz, 32g DDR4@3200Mhz, 4x 1Tb SSD 1x 400g m.2mvme(boot), 28" Samsung 4k, Saitek X-56 Throttle/Warthog Stick and Saitek Pro Flight Pedals.

if Your GUI is the same as Viewports.Center, why are you not using UIMainView = Viewports.Center?

 

Because I haven't had a reason to change that lua in years. I haven't even looked at that lua file until last night because iit's worked fine with no issues until the latest open beta. But for the sake of troubleshooting changing it to what you suggested didn't impact the F10 zoom issue that everyone is having.

It wont fix the problem, I believe I have info for bug report now from launching DCS on tablet in 3D off mode.

Please attach your monitor setup as well.

I know this is a beta version, but should you check these basic things before the release!

So many years have passed and the guys from ED still surprise me ...

 

We do check most of these things,

Sometimes things break during compiling, or are a result of a specific hardware set.

Note this is NOT limited to Multi-Monitor,

 

But to Anyone that uses Multi-Viewports in which the UIMainView Does Not match the Game Resolution.

Just chiming in to say f-10 map is janky in VR as well, as I'm sure others have said.

 

Have several friends using VR that have given up on using the map for this update.

 

May try seeing if I still get decent performance by upping the resolution in game to match my Odyssey and if it is a viable workaround until ED fixes it.

Glad you guy's are on it ..that map is my online GPS .....on a positive note my dead reckoning has gotten better :D

Oh geez, looks like after today's update that "fixed" our F10 menu, now whenever I open any mission in DCS the game CTD's.

 

EDIT: does it with my 3-screen setup and switching to single screen.

 

Feels like we've entered a house-of-cards series of patches last couple of weeks

Applied the hotfix for 2.5.3.21107 from today. I'm using 3 screens with the UI defined for the center screen. See attached.

 

The labels now work correctly, and the F10 Map and GUI are on my center screen. A new issue is odd distortion on the left and right screens during loading screens, and once in the 3D world if I select F10 or on exit, the 3D world is rendered in "pixelated" black and white on the left and right screens. It stays persistent even once I'm back at the GUI until I exit DCS.

 

This isn't game breaking but it seems related to the same issue where the UIMainView does not equal the resolution.

The Hotfix fixed the problem for me today. :thumbup: Which, by the way, was a bug for me too with only a single 4K display (TV interfaced via HDMI), no special setup or .lua view changes.

 

Thanks! It's nice to have a clean, crisp GUI now that doesn't require Hubble to read. :)
