Can DCS run in this resolution without cropping the image up and down ? I am tempted to buy such a monitor but I wanted to be sure. Anyone does it ? I love VR as well, but this seems to be the best solution with a real cockpit with mfds's etc at the moment. I made a photoshop to see what it would look like, and its pretty close to what you showed me: what about the feeling of speed ? I bet its better right ? what about performance ? did you take a big hit from 1920x1080 in term of FPS ?
