Previously the engine would crank 2-3 times, then pause for a second, crank 2-3 times, pause for a second, repeat until magnetos turned on/engine started. Currently, pressing the starter button (or default HOME key) results in immediate 20% RPM, and immediate engine start. Engine can be started without doing any priming at all. Track attached. In YouTube videos back from release I see the behaviour with the engine cranking a few times before starting, but for me it just starts instantly even without priming and on a cold day. Starts no problem at idle throttle too, don't even need 1/3.

When you push and hold the starter button with all mags OFF (I mean in both cockpits), the engine starts and there is the engine running sound playing, which is completely wrong. The engine even stabilize at 20% with only the starter, which is not correct. The starter only gives initial rotation impulse to start the engine. If mags are off, no ignition is possible, the engine must just be rotating inconsistently following compression strokes of cylinders with very low RPMs. In DCS, hold the start switch and the engine goes to 20% and hold there until the start switch is released. I don't feel the need to provide a track since it's so easy to reproduce, but I will if asked to. Can we have a fix ? Thank you very much, have a good day. 本帖最后于2024年7月21日，由Jowen G. Bruère-Dawson编辑
