There is already a pilot body there. Do you not see it when you free look? I know I see it...

I know what he means.

When you are IN the Cockpit the seat is empty. No pilot legs and arms.

An immersion killer in my opinion.

Exactly! Almost all other modules have an in cockpit pilot body (I think the mig-21 and viggen are the only other two without).

Pretty essential for immersion in VR.

I love the A10, but it could be updated with a pilot body and fix for cockpit/HUD scaling issues.

Check out my 'real world'

video series

There's no reason why ED shouldn't add the pilot body.

Sure,I am surprised it has not been done by now.

I personally don't use pilot body's in my pits because they obstruct some switches more often than not.

P.S:If its up to me(good thing its not) i would add female pilot with big bazunkabongs. JK

I like the idea of a pilotbody...but in the modules that have that, i seldom turn it one for it doesn not properly move and shift around depending on where your are looking thus blocking view to the consoles and instruments.

If we'd get an animated pilotbody....i'd be all for it!

I do not use the pilot body for the simple reason it restricts too much of the cockpit. Particularly the pilots left arm. In RL you would simply move your arm, in the sim... no can do.

That's why the pilot body can be toggled off for all planes for those who don't want it from within the DCS menu.

I also tend to turn pilots off on the fly with a mapped button press in case I need access to a panel really quick - no big deal.
