CHINA_HAT_FWD
Hi All, Can anyone offer any 'rules of thumb' to work with for basic mission fuel planning? I would like to hear what figures people use on average for each phase of flight/mission. I know there are so many variables here but some averages for use in the planning stage would be really helpful, and I can't find much guidance online. Thanks in advance, CHF
Flamin_Squirrel
This might help. I need to update it for the more powerful engines, but it's a place to start: http://www.courier-critic.co.uk/fa18c/

Shadoga
Thanks for the nice tool! 2 points I noticed: - Landing distances remain in feet despite meters selected as unit - Check selectable stores at stations 4 & 6, that seems not right to me (MRAAMs missing; 2 AGM-65s!?, etc.). David OC
Just plan to have Aerial refueling available for this gas guzzler;), to keep all the options open. Would be good to have something in combatflite, I think he has done enough with that software tho;) you can get plenty of planing info from it.
