JG-1_Vogel Posted October 9, 2018 Posted October 9, 2018 Patched DCS tonight, only to find my throttle isn't working right at all. It's recognised by Windows 10 under devices (separate entries for Warthog throttle and stick). Stick works fine, however the throttle isn't recognised at all evident by being unable to map anything to it and the throttle axis is completely unresponsive in game (tested by going to tune axis). LED's all work and Target GUI app recognises it - I'm thoroughly confused tbh. HELP
BuzzU Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 I'm not sure it's your problem but I had the same problem. It turned out DCS wasn't recognizing the throttle because I was stopping at mil power when I was setting it up. You have to go to full AB power for DCS to see it. Buzz
Frederf Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 You should check your controller in Windows "joy.cpl". If it works there then it should in DCS. It's possible for controllers to go "dead" with Windows 10. This happens for me with joystick or throttle even when TARGET is excluding joystick. I find unplugging and replugging helps.
rinch Posted October 14, 2018 Posted October 14, 2018 Did you guys sort this out yet? It looks like ED made a change to the default profile that broke mapping in the existing profiles. I spent ages remapping everything! IIRC in my case, several additional axes had been mapped to the throttle, including my rudder... which was very confusing first flight! ;) ED have announced https://forums.eagle.ru/announcement.php?f=105 that it'll be fixed on Monday
