Is there some value somewhere that ED can increase to make bombs do more damage? As a temporary fix until we get better damage models? Because as you can see in the picture, the damage is ridiculously low.

A couple meters off and 500 pounds of explosive seem to do little more to a soft skin truck than a firecracker. While just 2-3 rounds of the A-10C's cannon are enough to kill it.

you can edit the effective explosive yield in the game files

but it breaks integrity AFAIK, IE it's mostly useless.

But it's not just the damage model of the target unit, it's also up to the weapon to have accurate 3D shockwave effects, rather than just a single absolute 2D radius where it does have it's effect, but that's probably already more developed with several levels, I'm not sure exactly the depth of the sophistication, but it's not easy, not that simple, and with easy I mean, it's not a mystery how do do it, it's that it would be taxing on the computers, to calculate all the shockwave and shrapnel objects how would they effect the truck unit and how would they bounce it off one side etc.

I guess the shrapnel and physics of the edge shockwave aren't exactly

But it was announced there's an update to AIM9 missiles with their new calculations, motor stuff.

The other thing is, is accuracy to real world and if there's no documentation, I think the dev logic was that it's rather not spent to develop some imaginary fictional stuff with a lot of sophisitcation so I guess the stuff that there's not enough documentation on will just be left on a basic educated guess level, afaik.
