In the tests I did, I started much lower or higher than the bandit (Mig 29s in this case) when I experienced some problems with the radar when I tried to find the target using radar elevation (up/down). It seems that the scanning just stops when I tried to alter the antenna elevation. When I alter it again, sometimes it starts scanning again. But in many cases I wasn't able to get it working again. In some ocassions it even results in the antenna elevation caret moving up and down automatically. I have read some problems with the radar on the forum but these seem to be quite excessive. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a known bug which ED is working on atm.
