You are most welcome sir! Some times, especially with the huey, its just about the experience. :-) Before I figured out how to make this work, I had 50 troops on the ground fighting and boy was that a performance hit in VR.

Another option (if you want to show e.g. FARP and other important things) would be to simply chose "hide on map" for the players aircraft. This shall work again (not tested yet though). Thus gives you more flexibility.

Edit: I almost prefer the option "Set marker" though to show things on the map.

I do like the "hide on map" idea but the set marker would probably be the most flexible now that i think about it.. May have to give that a shot. great idea! thanks! :D

this looks a great mission, but without the huey can I edit the huey for the mi8?

Hi thrustvector! if you go into the editor and simply change helo to an Mi8, im thinking technically it should still work. as long as you do not fiddle with the naming.This is all in theory I have not tested this.

It's for sure easier with the "Set Marker" because all you have to do is to set the F10 to "map only". With the "hide on map", you'd have to do it with every object/aircraft you don't want to see.

Thanks for your great job :thumbup:

Before play some mission, I translate the dictionary in french for a good understanding of the mission. :book:

I noticed that there were several lines "assert(loadfile(" as such as :

["DictKey_ActionText_3082"] = "assert(loadfile("C:\\\\Users\\\\l***v\\\\Google Drive\\\\DCS\\\\FarpHollywood\\\\002\\\\002.lua"))()",

Is it important ? the paths are specific to your computer and the lua files do not exist in the archive.

I did the first 2 FARP Hollywood missions before version 2.5.6 on Steam. Today after nearly 6 months or so I decided to do the 3rd FARP Hollywood Med Evac mission but I didn't get the "Welcome to the Fraternity" announcement nor did anything happen when I reached the LZ shown in the picture above. Does the mission need to be updated for DCS 2.5.6? If so, when will the new version be available?

CPU: Core i7 7700k, Mobo: GA-Z270x Gaming 7 rev. 1, RAM: 2 x 8GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz, GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Amp Edition, SSD: Samsung 850 pro 512 GB, SSD: 2 x Samsung 850 EVO 512 GB (RAID 0), Intel 530 Series 240GB SSD, HDD: WD 2TB Caviar Black, TrackIR 5, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, CH PRO Pedals.
