External Power will not disconnect

I checked it again, after a DCS repair (you never know).

I used the instant action cold start mission.

Steps:

Radio command with the ground crew to connect the ground power. Action ok.

Do nothing.

Radio command with the ground crew to disconnect the ground power. Action ok.

Radio command with the ground crew to connect the ground power. Action ok.

Following the checklist and starting both engines.

When reaching the disconnect external power step, radio command with the ground crew to disconnect the ground power is not working. Ground crew will not acknoledge and power supply will stay connected.

cant remember the exact name but you have 2 switches to activate on the nav side, one by the battery switches and one down behind shoulder, lower panel middle switch, this is probably the prob....maybe :)

Switches checked, not the issue.

Thanks.

There are several ways to do this. I flip the RADIO/ICS switch to ICS and use the ALT + \ menu. The SPU-7 intercom system is described in detail on page 108 of the manual, I recommend reading up on it.

It worked, keying first click of the trigger.

Where is it written in the manual that crew has to communicate with the crew chief via ICS once the engines are running?

Thanks.

I don't think it is written anywhere and it didn't work like that earlier but it used to be like that in the original Black Shark release (don't know if it changed since) which gave me the idea to try it. It does make sense if you think about it, them engines are loud.
