Hello got a new PC lap top DELL Latitude with some upgrades except the hard drive which is very full right now, and im trying to install DCS World for free, and I keep getting this error, seems to be a directx11.dll error. says directx backend in the log, here i'll show you...

So there it is, Sorry if that TMI, I figured more was better then less. Seems there is a problem with loading cache for the game, not sure if thats a RAM Problem or a Disk space Problem...

 

 

Here's the system spec's

 

 

Intel's core i7 640M 2.8ghz

 

Ram DDR 3 8 Gig

Graphics: Nvidia NVS 3100M 512M DDR 3 <--------I know this is small but I figured it would pass.

 

 

and lastly a very full solid state HDD I was wondering if I trigured a disk space fault in Directx but I'm not sure please advise!

 

 

I have my sites on the old DCS A-10C free to play. I didn't like the change they made.

WHAT??! You Jest sir theres gotta be a way!! I have 8 gig of ddr3 ram and 215meg I know this lap top shoulders the gpu burden diffrently but it is all ddr 3 and only a flight sim! Aww... guess i'll have to downsize to falcon BMS? Or is there a way to force A10 to work?

Ummm...your first post i read 3.8 gig ram . Now i see 3 8 . So ram ok . Cpu ok-ish . No numbers on ssd space , but you are gonna need 50 gig or so for DCSW ,, A-10C , and a page file .

I see that yeah, Was hooping the GPU had 4 gig but no luck, still DDR 3. BMS is probably better for me. With that card, I know I'd play halflife and Homeworld no problem. Do you know where I can get Falcon BMS? Falcon 4.0 is legacy where's the download links now?

This might be a clue and seems related to DX11 / Nvidia driver. Your hardware/driver is not compatible.
