doodenkoff
Ever experienced the case where after closing all of the circuit breakers the engine won't shutdown? Just keeps on running. The engine shutdown switch does nothing either.L39_silkworm_sortie.miz Win 10 | i7 4770 @ 3.5GHz | 32GB DDR3 | 6 GB GTX1060
lmp
No, because I never tried to turn off all the circuit breakers without turning off the engine first. I shut down the aircraft by the book a few times yesterday and it worked fine. Turning off all the electrics shouldn't kill the engine. All the engines I know are designed to work in case of total electric failure. Furthermore, the Stop Engine button may not work without the Battery and Engine CBs. Morpheus
Always use "Stop" position on my Warthog Throttle (corresponding at RAlt+End):music_whistling:
lmp
The manual recommends pulling the throttle into stop or using the stop engine button, in both cases before you turn off the battery and engine cb.
doodenkoff
Turns out, I had been away from flying the L-39 for so long that I completely forgot the "throttle stop" step to killing the engine. Thanks for the reminders. :) Win 10 | i7 4770 @ 3.5GHz | 32GB DDR3 | 6 GB GTX1060
