flyco Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Does anyone know how to remove the Time display from the F/A-18's HUD?
Wizard_03 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Box ‘timeufc’ on the HSI page then push the ztod push button on the ufc DCS F/A-18C :sorcerer:
Chewie_77 Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 Open the HSI/color map on one of the MFDs and look for the soft button called TIMEUFC on the bottom row of buttons and then ZTOD on the UFC. Press it and it'll remove the time display from the HUD. flyco Posted November 1, 2018 Author Posted November 1, 2018 Thanks for that. I found the ZTOD option, but rather stupidly took that to mean Zulu Time on Display. The old rules still apply - “Don’t assume - Check, stupid”.

Haha, reminds me of what one of my instructors used to say: "To ASSUME makes an ASS out of me and you" Thanks, I didn't know this trick either and learnt something more.
