What a nice list , I think we can add the following just to make it complete :

- Inlet Ramp Position Indicator shows dorsal grills for FOD open / inlet doors close for FOD protection when each engine reaches 35% RPM during start-up. (Watch those "side lines" rising up from the bottom of Ramp Position Indicator).

- A red caution light for low oil pressure switches off at the very back of right side panel when Right engine reaches 60% RPM.

- A working QFE knob on barometric altimeter on ALL FC3 planes - we can now re-zero the altimeter before take-off.

Thanks guys I've added them to the list and a few more I've found.

This is labelled “TRANSFM Fail” is this the same light you are referring too?

Fantastic!

Let's add to the mix: EKRAN warning display

Hope that ED adds working chaff/flare counter next :)

Answer to both is: It wont happen for FC3/MAC.

I asked Chizh regarding these and navigation at 29 PFM release and he said what we have now is what we will have until FF module happens sometime in future if it happens at all...

What we have is what one can have for $15 ...

I don't see that the RADAR ON light is working, in two models of the MIG-29G have this feature in the lower right area of the telepanel.

Thanks this works and has been added to the list.

Preset channles selector is also animated

Do you mean the Navigation Control Panel?

This is animated in the 3d model viewer but has not been implemented in game yet.

Full simulated modern russian aircraft in DCS? I think that Star Citizen will be released first!

Here's an idea: ED should make the FC3 modules' cockpits clickable, without turning them into a full high-fidelity module.

Reason being - even though FC3 planes are marketed as being easy to learn and to get into, flying VR makes it a lot more difficult to using the keyboard shortcuts needed for the average FC3 module, and not everything can be bound to the limited HOTAS setups we typically use.

So I find the FC3 modules being harder to master in VR than the full fledged modules, due to the lack of clickable cockpits.

So maybe the updated MiG-29 with all these animated buttons and switches will be the first FC3 module that will get a clickable cockpit, without becoming a full fledged module?

At least that's my hope.

Yes, that's the one. it is not "oil Pressure"- I guessed it WRONG :).

Does this "Fail Transform" mean AC-DC inverter failure ? or a transformer failure ?

Why does it link to the Right engine's RPM ?

Not all - F-15C is still behind.

That's too bad, hope ED will implement it soon.

I found the QFE knob works now in Su-27/J-11A and Su-33, and hope it will work in Su-25 too - just like in Ka-50 :) .

I think it really adds immersions for us before take-off and landing  .

By the way, where are the Radar Altimeter switches / Rad-alt knobs located in MiG-29 and Su-27 ? Does Rad-Alt always display on their HUDs automatically without the need to turn a knob ? Or in real life it needs to turn a switch / knob just like those in F/A-18C and Mirage-2000C ?

I'm not sure, hopfully there is a MiG-29 expert here who can tell us.

Any one out there who knows?

No key commands just animation )

Is this animated in game? How do you see it work?

This list is for new animations that are currently working in the sim.

It's transformer failure warning. The aircraft uses AC/DC converter (PTO) then.

Normally right engine drives the accessory systems through the gearbox. But the left engine can take over in certain conditions, ie. it's RPM is +7% higher than the right engine's RPM.

It's not used in game, so you won't see it there. Just check it in model viewer :)

Yes I know it works in model viewer along with many other switches, lights and gauges.

But we are only listing new animations that actually work in game here!

Thanks never the less.
