Blackhawk21 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 I haven’t been able for a while now to play DCS because every time start it, the game crashes. It started with me not being able to start a mission without the game crashing. I reinstalled my graphics driver and the problem was solved. However now I can’t even access the menu. I’ve reinstalled it a couple of times and also ran repairs on it but nothing seems to work. My specs are: GeForce GTX860M Intel® Core i7/470HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz 15.89 GB RAM 1920 x 1080, 60Hzdcs.log-20181123-032113.zip
Rudel_chw Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Hi, try the following: rename your /saved games/dcs/ folder to something else, for example dcs.bak This will force the game to rebuild your /saved games/dcs/ folder with a default version. If this fixes the problem, then shutdown dcs and copy from dcs.bak the /config folder and the /missioneditor/logbook.lua file to recover your hotas config and logbook.
