What's on this A-10's wing?

I found this awesome picture, but the planes are carrying something I don't recognize. It's that pod on port wing, the right side of the picture. I'm not referring to the litening pod on the starboard wing. Rather the one opposite it.

 

Any guesses?

yep, looks like the small rocket pod to me

Looks like a Rocket Pod on the left wing and a Lightning Pod on the right wing to me.

What's the brownish stuff scattered on the wings and tail?Just dust/dirt?

 

It's also funny to see so many pics of warthogs with bumps on the nose, looks like a2a refueling isn't always as smooth as what we see on Youtube :P
