Irishlad200000 Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 I noticed if a crash occurs on a runway and the aircraft wreck remain on the tarmac, ATC will ask you to divert to another field! It is quite realistic! However is there a system that removes the wreckage after a set time, as in real life? Would be interesting to know! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
ebabil Posted November 27, 2018 Posted November 27, 2018 if something (or at least an aircraft) is on the runway or final approach, atc says "runway is occupied go around" afaik FC3 | UH-1 | Mi-8 | A-10C II | F/A-18 | Ka-50 III | F-14 | F-16 | AH-64 | Mi-24 | F-5 | F-15E| F-4| Tornado Persian Gulf | Nevada | Syria | NS-430 | Supercarrier // Wishlist: CH-53 | UH-60 Youtube MS FFB2 - TM Warthog - CH Pro Pedals - Trackir 5
Kang Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 If wreckage 'blocks' the runway the ATC response actually is 'go to alternate'. As far as I know this does clear by itself though.
amazingme Posted November 28, 2018 Posted November 28, 2018 Actually. ED should implement some kind of 'garbage collector' to remove these unneeded objects.
