Butcher868 Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 (edited) Hello guys, since a month i have a big problem. My game often crashes, without an error. I see only an error at the Windows System Log. Faulting application name: DCS.exe, Version: 2.5.3.23225, time stamp: 0x5bcf2c15 Faulting module name: zlib.dll, Version: 1.2.11.0, time stamp: 0x5a3007bf Exception code: 0xc00000fd Fault offset: 0x0000000000017518 Faulting process id: 0xebc Faulting application start time: 0x01d4786dcc7b2aca Faulting application path: <F:\DCS World\bin\DCS.exe> Faulting module path: <F:\DCS World\bin\zlib.dll> Report Id: 1b56cf58-eacd-4f1f-b7b1-6eccf16caa71 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: log name_ Application source: Application Error Report-ID: 1000 level: Failure If I delete the zlib.dll and repair DCS, the game works for 2-3 days. If not the game crashes all 10-15 minutes. All other games on my PC working great. (Counterstrike, Battlefield, Kingdom Come, etc) My Win10 System and all drivers are up to date, nothing is overclocked. I deleted my whole DCS SSD Drive, made an Hard Drive Test and installed DCS new and I made some RAM-Tests but every Test said that my System is fine. Soooo what could it be!? Please help me guys! :( Edited November 29, 2018 by Butcher868 Intel Core i9 13900K; Palit GeForce RTX 4090; 64GB Kingston FURY DDR5 Steam | Discord | Twitch | YouTube | Instagram

naizarak Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 zlib is a data compression utility, and most likely crashes because of a RAM fault. you should run a RAM stress utility like memtest86 to verify
