just come back after a break with the old bird, is the mav E having probs or is it me?

set the code, turn on tgp, set to laser then arm, slew down to tgt, it takes ages to click into the tgt if at all, once uncaged when it doen seem to click into target fire laser, queues seem fine has the lock but misses wildly, out of 8 fired I hit a soldier!!

Are you keeping the TPOD laser designating the target until missile impact?

to be honest that may be the problem, but I thought the mav picked up its target, how then do I do a run firing off all 4 on diff targets, or can you not do that with the E?

The E mavs don't do that. Go with the IR ones (G/D) if you want to do that sort of an attack.

 

The E's are longer range, but have to be walked all the way to the target with the beam.

 

It's easy to do with the tpod, just peel off at 45 and watch the tracking square. Then peel off to 90 degrees and bank slightly away.
