F/A-18C HORNET pit V1.8 & F/A-18C HORNET cleanpit

Recommended Posts

I made new textures for the DCS F/A-18C Hornet for a higher immersion feeling.

These files can be downloaded from the ED user files section, and after unpacking, the DDS and LUA files can be copied into

          ../users/[pc name]/saved games/DCS.openbeta/Liveries/Cockpit_F-18C/FA-18C HORNET pit

Then in DCS, go to options (settings), select the SPECIAL tab, select F/A-18C and in customized Cockpit select FA-18C HORNET pit.

Updated the F/A-18C HORNET pit to V1.1

Made left and right DDI a bit darker and cleaner

Made throttle brushes look softer

Removed top of the two lines in HUD (don't think it should be there)

Some more dirtying up the place

Tried something where the canopy glass meets the front canopy bow.

Updated screenshots

It has past almost one moth since the date I've installed it.

I' am appreciating your hard work even more day after day, no issues to report on my little own.

Thanks a lot for sharing it, Bummer, you did it great.

With best regards,

Some work on the lock/shoot lights box.

Changed the pitch ladder on the spheroid of the SARI. ( more like in the F-5E )

Disp button little more worn.

Removed some of the bluish colour on the grey painted parts.

Would like to have the Hornet pit less weathered and more clean like the Harrier pit.

When it´s possible, of course, can you update the right console? on FLIR section, LTD/R button is 3-position but it´s wrong labeled. ARM/SAFE instead ARM/SAFE/AFT. It´s a minor thing but just pointing out after last update. Take care and thank you once again for this beautiful cockpit.

Hello fagulha.

The arm/safe/aft was there from the start in the ED version, but I changed it, because in all the pictures I could find of it there was no aft position.

But it is not a big deal, so I will restore it back to the arm/safe/aft positions in the next update.
