A quick heads up for anyone interested.

 

Found this little gem over in the main DCS World 2.5 subforum. Checked it out and it works like a charm - Simple and effective.

It can be resized, moved and Ctrl + Shift + X hides/shows it ... thanks a lot for the heads up :)

Away atm. How does it work?

Small transparent window you can move around the screen.

You can click into it and type anything (while in F10 you can type coordinates)

you can copy paste from the mission briefing into this pad

hot key to show and hide it on the fly.

I don't think It is possible to select and copy the radio text in dcs

Someone mentioned being able to copy text from the briefing and pasting it into the pad. havent tried it myself.
